at first you WILL feel very tired and want to sleep early. because of this i recommend getting in the habit of taking it at night because it'll seriously mess up morning routines. after a week or two, however, this will wear off and you'll get used to it! also, you won't feel any changes until then, although you might find yourself wanting to do weird stuff like talk more or eat a really specific thing. when i first got on it i randomly had an outburst during spanish class in HS, it was embarrassing but at least no one noticed bc it was already loud in there LOL
regarding bodily effects outside of sleepiness: it really does not do much besides maybe increase frequent visits to the bathroom or a slightly parched mouth for a little bit. i recommend eating before taking it as it may upset an empty stomach, + drink LOTS of water with it and during the day too.
it really will not hurt you, and your starting dose should be pretty small. my psychiatrist didn't even give me my full dose until after those 2 weeks, which helped my body adjust to it.
in the end, please remember this will help you more than it'll hurt you! i promise you that you will feel a lot happier and better! i hope this helped a little!
