It is so funny to me, when a child tells you that they love you, completely at random.
An innocent response, from a child having so much fun living in the moment. I'm glad, I have childhood memories like that too.
Now Clair can have that experience with a grouchy, old widow woman ,too. Life seems to circle around, as you age.
I nearly cried, just watching young people just playing with their imagination's, in my yard again.
Clair showed up again today asking to use the pool. She brought her brothers, who are also really fun [yet mini-barbarians in need of a parental discipline..] and other friend's.
That little girl manipulated me, into letting her have a neighborhood pool-party.
My first ever, Non-Alcoholic party. It felt good feeling like a mother throwing a birthday party [for nobody in particular] , again.
Clair is a lovely girl.
I like having her, as a friend.
When she shows up at my door, the world stops rotating on it axis and time stands still.
As A Widow, I often feel like the child adopted me.
If I could stop time, as a super power, I would want to be her mother, forever.
[ Note to reader: Clair lives in the most disgraceful situation at home. It is so bad, to describe it would somehow be a violation in Bimboland's due to censorship. Let's just say, this little girl live's in the American Equivalent of a SEWER, complete with sleeping in dog and cat and rat waste and garbage. ] < What can I do about it?
Nothing, but give the girl a bath and some food and some love.
