Maybe that is why forum link's only open to the last page. A form of Media censorship?

While there are a bunch of concerns that still aren't being addressed, this is a fine step in the right direction. It's not a leap, but it's progress. Still have gripes, still contemplating sending a businessy message our glorious leader's way. This only furthers that desire, tbh.

I've mentioned thinking a nonzero amount of forum rules and features need to be updated to better suit the way we communicate in 2020. When I was testy a while back I sassed Alex (who didn't deserve it by the way, she's just doing her job) but I recognize that she was in the right based on the rules that are in place even if I don't agree with them. I'm frustrated by them, but the rules in place are independent of who is in charge, so enforcing them is a consistent process with a clear order that it's intended to follow.

I'm using this as preface to the following concern nobody's brought up yet: this shifting of the Forum Guardian system posits is the idea that the rules could frequently rotate based on who is in charge at the time. Because the users who enforce the rules will follow differing standards based on the PB, the rules have the potential to change to suit that PB in both positive and negative ways. It leads to the new moderators being able to act on behalf of the PB instead of act on the behalf of the established rules. This has the potential to go downhill into complex rule changes and miscommunications over a number of months and negatively impact an already imperfect forum setup.

The committee that maintains the forums and acts as "guardians" should absolutely remain independent of the Prime Bimbo and Bimbo President. As a separate organization with responsibility only to the forums and maintaining order within structures that we as a community work together on it's less likely to spiral out of control. Having separate agencies of sorts is necessary to prevent one or two people from controlling everything. For that reason I don't think this change is "healthy" for the community.

Rotation is a great idea. Give some people time to breathe and let them try other things if they want, and give others the opportunity to try. But completely eliminating the independence of forum guardians from the PB and BP is a bad one.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet, but prime bimbos were able to pick FGs in past too. It's not really a new thing, it's just more official now. After FGs were introduced for the first time as role almost each PB chose someone of her choice. They usually didn't take off FG role of some of the existing FGs, but they used to add new FGs. There is no big difference regarding FGs in the past and now, except automatically taking roles off of FGs after term is done. It doesn't really mean that every next PB will pick new FGs or that same PB is going to pick new FGs for each term if elected again. People usually tend to stick to what is known. The positive side of this change is inactive FGs maybe won't be appointed to that role again. Negative side, of course, is the possibility that PB will pick FGs based on friendship and personal preferences. But it's not really a new thing due that PBs were already able to choose new FGs. If that ability hasn't been already abused what makes you all think it is going to be abused in the future?

what exactly does this mean? this suggests PB gets to potentially fully controll everything anyone says which is only a recipe for dictatorship and drama.....I could be reading this wrong but this doesnt' seem like a good idea based on how im reading it...

It means that when a Prime Bimbo is elected, they choose who they want as Forum Guardians and they also make up the rules of the forum.

The scaling system is a little odd, but I imagine 0 is full chaos and nobody monitors the forum, which potentially means a forum filled with racist, homophobic and otherwise cruel comments and just generally a very hostile environment, and numerous new threads being made every day causing the forum to be a complete mess. 10 would be a very strict forum with no cursing allowed, and instant forum bans for every little annoyance like double posting and making duplicate threads.

I know that many players would like to switch out the current Forum Guardians with new ones, and I really don't mind stepping down as it is a horrible and very unthankful job, but I do think that replacing the forum rules every fourth month will be confusing for everyone and not a good idea. But we'll see what happens. :)

Why even allow for something like 0 or 10?? like ok i get that this site is kinda like... a whole paraodical funnie haha thing, but it's also an actual community at that and i really don't think any power like that should be granted cuz it could cause even more shit to go down....I would hope that most members who would ever become PB would not ever think about making things either a 0 or a 10, but the fact that such a thing is even technically possible doesn't bode well with me.
