Suddenly the lights in the hall begin to flicker, and the music wavers. Thick black fog begins to fill the hall and some of the guests begin to look around in alarm. There's an abrupt crack of lightning. It wasn't even raining?

"Who has summoned me?" Booms a voice amidst the fog, echoing in the Antitheocra hall. The fog clears, revealing what appears to be a woman, with large dark horns protruding from her crimson hair. Her white eyes scan the room, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. She blinks in surprise. "A party?"

"Oh you've made it!" A woman with long dark hair and a colourful dress approaches the stranger, unflinching. She holds out a red poppy pin. "This is for you, wouldn't want you to feel left out."

Wordlessly the stranger takes the pin and fastens it to the front of her dress.

The woman smiles and gestures to a man that has appeared by her side. "Nikandr will take your cloak if you wish."

"I'd rather keep it on. But..." The stranger reaches into her cloak and seemingly pulls a black shoebox out of nowhere. Something slides around within the box and it gives off a faint burning smell? She looks up to see the woman is gone, but the man, Nikandr, is patiently waiting. She carefully places the box in his hands. "Consider it a gift, Polly will know what to do with it when the time comes."

Nikandr nods solemnly and hurries away.

The stranger pulls up the skirts of her dress slightly and makes her way in the throes of the party, an almost imperceptible clopping sound as she walked. It'd been ages since she enjoyed a good party anyway.

This turned into a long one sorry for that. And a warning beforehand I didn't chek the grammar so bear with me.

My day started like usually. Hit the alarm, made my first cup of coffee, did my morning routine. With 2nd cup in hand opened my mail and my ou my what a surprise was waiting for me in there - invite to Polly's surprise birthday party.
Of course the rest of plans was canceled on spot. I wouldn't miss Polly's party for anything in world!
Omg what I will wear !?
*Chaotic closet clearance. Clothes flying left and right. Poor cats are worried and scared, and decided to leave the room for their own safety. Who would want to be burried under pile of dresses. Definitely not one of them.
After an hour that seemed way less than that for the culprit of the disorder in room.
For love of Xod how come there isn't anything suitable in plum color. What's the point of such huge load of clothes if there isn't anything close to what I need! Ok there still is time. Breathe Blecky breathe.
*You can hear breathing sounds and mumbling of numbers mixed with just calm down you will figure something out.
Hmm Katrynah in invite has sent a poppy pin to wear together with gown for the party... yes I can go on from that. Play with the color scheme of the poppy pin - red and black. This will work for sure!
*Happy clapping and excited jumping noises.
So the pin is my starting point. Hmm what could go well with it?
*Scanning the chaos in bedroom.
Yes this is perfect occasion to wear Edvitch's sheer sleeves! So happy I have been wanting to use them since I saw this masterpiece in store. Seems we will go with black for most and some red for accent. Yes Bimbl6 dress so beautiful but isn't this to predictable and simple. Hmm what could make this pop.. ou let's go with my go to polka dot skirt. This time red ones. Still not what I wanted and Polly deserves more effort.
* The scanning of the chaos in room continues.
Is that a pair of tights on my lamp?! How did it get there? F*** cleanup will take an eternity.. well will worry bout it after the ball.
O yes this pleated Visc's skirt on top of the polka doted one. Perfect combo. Now need to figure how to combine the dress and skirts together to make it seemed like they are one item.. times like these calls for drastic measures - Poisons underbust. Who cares bout breathing as long as you look good.
* After trying on 100+ socks and tights glances at the tights that is hanging on the lamp.
Yeah why not could look interesting. I like this but it don't look like ball gown.. needs more volume. Hmm I wonder if this Queens dress would do the trick.
*Twisting in front of the mirror. Nods affirmatively.
Definitely not regular gown attire for ball but Polly will love the creativity. Now the most hard part for me.. the shoes... aaa. Why do people need shoes why not just go barefoot? Social norms be damned. Well these could work .. not perfect but the color scheme works. Good enough for me.
Need to put some jewelry, paint nails and do my hair and I'm ready! Almost forgot my makeup - Pollyx's extreme lashes is a must have for this look.  

Now the most important part - the gift. It needs to be something meaningful for Polly. Something they will actually love.
*Someone almost broke their brain in thinking process and lost all hope going through pages and pages of gifts that wasn't the right ones for them.
Wait I know the perfect gift but I can't get it by myself. Thank Xod for friends.
*Looking for phone in all the piles of clothing.
FOUND IT !
*Dials the number. You can hear calm voice on the other end of the phone.
Melp I need to ask a favor. I figured out the perfect gift for Polly but I need help to get to it.
You know what they love to use the most is a sketchbook. But in all the stores sections there isn't a single sketchbook! Can you please make one for them?
* Answear on the other end.

Final twist in front of the mirror. Last chek on the gift - sketchbook with 'Happy Birthday' wishes, a paintbrush that will go along with other gift they received from someone else, bottle of fancy juice to share with their husband and a nice cozy sweater bundled up in gift bag.
Hope Polly will love their gift ^_^ and have a blast at their birthday ball.

Oh yeah. Coming outside is definitely the right call. After all the dancing (or the writhing about that my dancing resembles) it is just waaay to hot to in there. Hmph, maybe I should take off the shawl just in case? No, nope, no. Too chilly for that in April - but it'll still be nice to stand in the garden for a second. A moment to take in the gentle breeze and a lone finch singing somewhere in the trees. Big crowds aren't really my thing, nor is the noise for prolonged periods of time. I also feel a tad underdressed compared to some of the elegant guests I've seen tonight - but hey, I like this casual hat I found in the back of the closet. Just gotta take a small break before I rejoin the bustle of the ball.

Still, for all my complaining, how could I have possible missed out on this party? A fancy party like this doesn't come around often. It's been a lovely night with excellent catering, gorgeous decorations, and wonderful people. An excellent use of the townhall. Remind me to send my regards to Katrynah later for the excellent hosting. ... And more importantly, I do have to go and find Polly again later. I sure hope she'll get lots of use out of those present and fill the sketchbooks with a collection of wonderous, lovely things! Only the best for Polly - our creative and kind SM. Her birthday shall not go ignored, so I'm so happy I came!

A moment later I'm spooked out of my thoughts by a whistling sound at the other edge of the yard. A searing light punctures the darkness of the light and explodes above the roof. Are those... fireworks?

Over-dressed and over-served, cyprienne made their way up to one of the estate's many balconies, waiting in dull excitement for the firework ceremonies to begin!

cyprienne had always been something of a wallflower- though not by total definition. Rather slutty, it was perhaps more accurately an anti-socialism quirk. Low tolerance for people, high preference for alcohol. The rest goes on as the evening does.
Although aware of their low blood sugar, they couldn't help but indulge in a cigarette- having just pilfered an exquisite ivory holder from another guest that was removed for raucous behaviour. Hehe…

Nicotine sick and vertiginous, cyprienne leans backwards over the marble alcove, boobies sky-cresting and eyes all but crossway'd.
Their cigarette, unceremoniously slipping from the decorated holder, no doubt lands within the opened crate of yet-to-be lit fireworks below!!

At first, a look of minute arrogance, and then quickly followed by a loud humility in realizing this was my own fault.

cyprienne quickly finished her martini (too heavy on the vermouth, and please tell the help they are out of gin) and began stumbling, bumbling down the balcony, using her tights and the eaves of her gown as a rope to drop to safety.
They landed on somebimby's car, bonnet-first, and left a single sparkling heel behind, embedded in the lusciously ass-dented aluminum.


Fortunately they had enough wits to remember to leave the birthday bimbo's present behind!!!

Groco, being the forgetful ximbo she is, misplaced her invite under a pile of Monster High doll receipts and forgot to remember the date! She whipped up something quick to wear-thank god ediblegoats just released a new dress line in stores- in her favorite color, pink, with splashes of red to match her poppy brooch. She's been feeling romantic and dreamy lately, what can she say! Arriving at the party, she greets Polly, chatting for a while about fashion design and cats. After depositing her gift- a gift card to Ximboland's premier plum hair salon - she wanders off outside into the moonlit garden. She likes to have moments of quiet to herself, especially at big events like this. Looking at the beautiful garden and all the flowers, she wonders if she'll meet someone out here. Maybe she will.

Miss Laulina Valdere, of the esteemed Valdere Fashion House, had been in a tizzy planning her outfit for the celebration of Pollyx. Knowing fashion designers from abroad helped her designs stay fresh and it was always nice to talk shop with someone who really got it! But would they judge her? She worked out of Korea these days, the major seat of youth and beauty it had become.
She was frazzled, in her heart and in her hair. What does one wear to a fashion designer's birthday ball!? In a puddle of gowns on the floor of her closet, at last, it dawned on her! She was attending this gala as a guest, as a friend -- not to represent the House of Valdere! And so, Laulina chose to wear Ximbo designer fashions, rather than concern herself with being scrutinized as a designer. At last, she could let her hair down both professionally and literally. Laulina was relieved that the party started so late at night, for after all, she was a vampire. Many in the fashion world were, in fact. That's what Amanda Lear sang about all those years ago. 

She wondered if Polly remembered that time, so many years ago when they met outside of Studio 54, and Laulina used her vampire persuasion to get a young Polly past the bouncer without a valid ID. And they danced the night away, though it was bleary through the haze of champagne and power powder.

What to bring -- that one was easier.

As she arrived, and the glamorous lady at the door tried to take her gift, she clutched it close to her petite frame possessively. She had been preparing this for months -- a custom cocktail gown, in the finest plum satin and lace. It was a one of a kind, designed and inspired by Polly herself. She hissed, holding up her pincushion -- "did you think this was just a twee clutch!? no! tell Polly to find me in the back garden when she has a few free minutes so I can finish tailoring this for her. Thank you." After the perfunctory glass of champagne and kissing her hellos to other designers she recognized, she waited between the flower beds, the lights from the disco inside casting sparkles.

"Happy Birthday, dear Polly!"

All Ximbo citizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo they must first become a Ximbo senator. All Ximbo senators are electable as state ministers. State Minister elections take place every 4 months also. Only state ministers are eligible to then become the Prime Ximbo.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 3 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Internet republic of Ximbolands holds elections every 4 months for Prime Ximbo and 4 months for State Minister.

Where do important discussions take place?
The Forum.

What is the treasury/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of the Internet republic of Ximbo land. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 4 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo citizens.
A percentage of the money paid by Ximbo citizens via Paypal and SMS is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is wisely used for further game development.
