instant ramen is definitely a go-to - i am partial to soy top ramen and maggie noodles with cheese at the moment. currently, though, i'm munching  on some gummy bears.

 Caramel-Pecan-Cheesecake

   This is not a traditional food for me culturally,  but a blend of flavors that work out so well to be my comfort food.
Caramel sauce drizzled over an authentic European Cheese Cake that is flak'y,[sp?]  not creamy.
   Something you can only find in........ My kitchen and maybe a couple other restaurant's in the southern part's of the USA.
 
16 graham crackers, finely crushed (about 2 cups)
 
6 Tbsp. butter, melted
 
35 KRAFT Caramels
 
1/4 cup milk
 
1 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans
 
3 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
 
3/4 cup sugar
 
1 tsp. vanilla
 
3 egg s
 
1 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
Heat oven to 325°F.

Mix graham crumbs and butter; press onto bottom and 2 inches up side of 9-inch springform pan.

Microwave caramels and milk in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 to 2-1/2 min. or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after each minute. Stir in nuts. Reserve 1/2 cup caramel mixture for topping; drizzle remaining caramel mixture over bottom of crust. Refrigerate 10 min.

Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with mixer until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour into crust.

Bake 1 hour 5 min. to 1 hour 10 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate 4 hours.

   Let it rest, for a day in the refrigerator before serving.

Top with reserved caramel mixture just before serving. Melt chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over cheesecake.

  Nearly as easy as making Raman,   but......   a bit more sweet and tasty.......
    I actually do enjoy a good Raman too,   It just is a warming sensation, after a hard day at work. 
                It doesn't bring me to pure orgasmic BLISS, as a good Cheese-cake does.

   The flavor is Amazing.      Even a cold crust of bread wasn't leaving my babies finger's till it was ALL GONE
                             and chewed up in a babies toothless mouth.......
   Plenty of time to do laundry,  LOL...   Ahh  the memories of cooking, is comforting TOO !!!!

Honestly like parmesan and bread ARE perfect together but when i need comfort and im anxious, i'm prone to just reach for fresh bread and eat it. or just eat straight cheese. i'm a one-ingredient stress eater, no meal prep. BUT if i'm already comfortable then i would definitely enjoy a good parmesan + bread concoction

    Actually 4 of them.   Each one costing $3500 USD....  [about 85 Pound's each. 39 KG approximately]
             It has amused me to see what an entire block does when kept 'Aging'.
  It Sweats.....   Touch it and your finger's smell good enough to suck on. !!!!!!!!!
   No JOKE,    That cheese is something very special.      
   I sort of laugh at the  people who buy it dispensed from a can, or at a restaurant... 
 They are not really getting 'Real Cheese'.
   Filler's and preservative's, instead.

    Real Parmesan cheese,  is a life changing experience in food.
   I love the flavor,  but I'm also a very spoiled rotten, American.
Most wouldn't  know a cheese or flavor, if it bit them on the nose.  'just saying'.....]

Yeah, the stuff in the Kraft bottle on the shelf, or the stuff they give you at most restaurants is so bad :'( i am privileged to be italian and so i know the real deal and it's beautiful. parmigiano is delicious

I had such a lovely time in Europe.   I didn't care very much for the food in France, or Germany,   But in Italy.   Manifico. [sp?]
   The use of Olive oil and spice's and smoked tomatoes, tended to give everything, such a 'comforting flavor'.
  Even olive's, somehow tasted better there.
  Yes, I can list Olives as being a comfort food of mine.
   I'm so obsessed with olive's,
            I drink the liquid they are packaged in, whilst in a can or bottle.
  Pickled or salted,  It does my natural body chemistry very good thing's.
   I never get the typical problems, of female's........... [  Just saying' } 
                       The acidic qualities of certain food, are even a benefit to human health.
   The ultimate comfort food,     is one that protect's your most hidden part's too.
