Dear Bimboland citizens! ♡
Halloween
is over in Bimboland and signing up to Prime Bimbo Fashion Contest has already started. The winning
theme for November is Harvest Festival!
Congrats to
vaporeon who suggested the theme and won one-month senator subscription!
Me, Pink House
staff and shopworkers voted for the theme this time, because as I told you in
my previous announcement, all the polls in the past have been abused by the cheaters
who have added fake votes.
Because we
voted in a smaller group, the voting was fast and I was able to inform Team
Bimbo in a good time about the theme.
And of course, KirstyD8 has once again organized PBFC unofficial poll for alternative PBFC results. Don't forget to send her your outfits!
I also have
some great news for the Fashion contest hosts! If you wish your Fashion contest
to be added to Bimboland calendar, you don’t have to wait for kimsim to do it anymore.
Kimsim was kind enough to give me permissions to edit the calendar, so those,
who cannot access to it, just send me a message and I’ll add your contest to
the calendar! (And as you may see, Agnostica citizens will be treated with a Faeries contest this month!)
Then, after happy news, I’ll be going to more serious issues.
I would
like to remind all of you about the age limit of the site which is 16 now. This
fact has been added to forum rule #1 and it is bolded. Please, remember the age
limit when you post to forum, send a comment or dm someone.
Unfortunately, we
have gotten reports about offensive and/or violent profiles, comments and debate answers. This is something we do not wish to see when we have minors around. Bimboland should be a safe environment.
If you see someone behaving badly, feel free to message me or
Pink House staff about it and we can ask those people to change their profiles
or debate answers. But as you know, we don’t have the tools to edit anyone else’s
profiles. So if the person for some reason won’t fix it themselves,
it will be up to Sachem - and he hasn't reacted to any of the reports about these users for a whole month now.
In order to
protect minors - and why not adult users too, I have told the site owner about my concerns and requested a spoiler system for
the forum. It would allow users to hide possibly triggering content behind a
spoiler and it would be up to the reader, if they wish to open the post or not.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t urgent enough, so it probably won’t happen even
though it is a needed feature. We are still looking for a working solution. Good ideas to protect users are welcome!
Along with other suggestions and issues, I have talked with the owner and kimsim about new outfit slots and adding more options and level limit for our forum polls so we could vote for PBFC theme here without bots and cheaters. The discussion seemed quite positive at that time and we definitely have some hope for getting some new features.
As many of you may have noticed, Team Bimbo hardly logs in on a weekly basis anymore, so I know it feels like we have fallen into a place where we don't seem to get new features anymore and where we cannot get any help with possible bugs or offensive players.
I am as
sorry about the absence of Team Bimbo but I want all of us to stay positive. Feel free to send me any suggestions regarding the issues I posted above!
