SM elections tend to have low interest by both voters and candidates - one of the reasons may be that they are as opaque and "in the background" as the DQFC used to be.  Posting the election results (candidates, # of votes received/percentage) would continue increasing the behind the scenes transparency and allow bimbos to see the results of their involvement directly.  It will also increase the profile of the elections and get bimbos and himbos more involved in the process.  Even if the title is mostly ceremonial, people still want to see what happens.  I'm not even sure who the SMs of the other states are at the moment, so if a number of states wanted to do a joint contest (not THAT kind of joint) it would take a bit of searching/posting/messaging just to find the leaders.

I do like the timer countdown that's currently in place for elections and other activities - that's a great idea.

Do you mean the percent and/or the number of votes for each participant? That would be kind of cool, and also insightful for future elections.

That's... somewhat non-information, really. How many candidates where there, what percentages did they get?

The only thing I can say for sure Bimboland is a republic that will actually put someone in office on a plurality of just 33 percent. 33 percent!

That's less than LibDem candidates needed to win the recent by-elections in Wales, which were a textbook exercise in gaming the first-past-the-post electoral system to win against a majority (with Greens and Plaid Cymru not fielding candidates for that specific reason). It's also less of the popular vote than the 16th President of the United States won on his first election, which was held in what can be considered to have been a failing state at that time.

That's... only a good outcome if the purpose of the game is to foster discussion about whether first-past-the post might just be a fundamentally flawed form of democracy.

I'm assuming the 33% came from the fact that there were more than two candidates up for election, but I might be wrong, lemme check.

EDIT: According to my count, Sandi was competing against 9 other bimbo's, so 33% makes sense.
