At first, it was funny and cute. I won't lie, Michael Jackson rapping an Ice Spice song tickled me lol.

I honestly think the whole AI thing is scary now. In the future, we won't need music artists. There are already virtual AI's that have a social media following in the millions, who's to say they won't turn Tina Turner (RIP) into an AI and create songs in her voice? And some old lizard is gonna make millions off of her likeness in her death?

Actually saw an article where someone tried to lure a child using their mother's voice; the creep pretended to be the mom, using a story of how she lost her phone, hence, the unknown number and told the kid to open the door. Thank goodness the kid was smart enough to call their actual mother.

It's only downhill from here.

Yes, i agree. I think AI generally is creepy, and about the Tina Turner thing you mentiond, thats what i ment by its cool if it dosent take away from the original artist. I hate when companys take adventage of passed on celebrites. AI can and is getting a bit out of hand imo but it's just nice to see something 'lighthearted' (like song covers) created out of it, it's like seeing the good within the bad yk? i hope that made sence lol

i like them! as long as they're for fun and for any sort of monetary or selfish reasons (if that makes any sense??). like yazabelle said, it shouldn't be used to take advantage of celebrities who have passed or getting artists to say slurs

That is absolutely bone-chilling! I knew that celebrities were vulnerable to this, but I didn't realize that the algorithms are good enough that even an average person has enough data out there to clone their likeness! Do you know where I could find that article? I did a quick google search but I was horrified to see that there are enough similar stories popping up that it's hard to find. No worries if not!
