Let’s talk about clowns, they can be creepy, they can be cute, they can be funny but most of all, they serve absolute cunt. Some clowns make their living in the comedy-sphere using physical comedy the most, and some clowns make their living by terrifying others in haunted houses! The modern clown look can be traced back to Joseph Grimaldi who came up with the white face and colorful hair. Jesters date back to the 1500’s where noblemen or monarchs would hire a jester to be part of their household and perform an act (physical comedy, storytelling, music) during royal court. Jesters would also entertain people at local fairs or town markets and in the modern day are seen at renaissance fairs.
This month’s fashion contest is clowncore. It’s been a while since a clowncore theme has been seen by Ximboland (Sept 2022 PXFC) + now that new users have had the chance to join, I’d love to see the looks that everyone can come up with!

Okay, so my clowncore outfit is a take on the icon herself, Miss Ronalda McDonald! She’s the iconic clown of McDonald’s fame and the fiercest mascot of any brand. She always makes sure to serve up fries with a smile and sass. Here she is looking like a full-course Big Mac meal + honey you’d be lying if you said you weren’t lovin’ it!
