I live in an area where the 'rich-Hollywood-Elite's', live too.
This morning was amusing to me. Why?
How the people who waste money, are also destroying the environment; also preach how much Global Warming is killing the Planet.
I saw 3 hypocrites today in all their glory. Just one of them, off-set all I do for the environment in a year doing what I do. Creating a natural refuge for the wild-life in a pristine natural environment. [see 2nd post first page]
I saw a man, fly a 1936 bi-plane today. Ok, it's transportation. At what cost?

It was absolutely beautiful to me to see in a historic and design context.]
Actually, I saw 3 totally useless aircraft fly in the span of 1 hour, around in circles. No destination at all. However those same 'hyper- political' people who don't want you to use plastic straws, 'take out container's, and disposable shopping bags, are telling all of us to pay more money and the inconvenience, so they can spend upward's of 1000 USD per hour, to cause noise pollution/ and inefficient waste of fuel to eject carbon into the atmosphere. Yes, to fly around in a circle, all alone.
I know it is a hobby and they earned the money to do it......
But just the flight's I saw today in one hour, did more damage to the environment than all the good everyone in this thread has done to SAVE planet Earth.
I like to do my part, and I do it with natural beauty in mind. However 1000 environmentalist's cannot even begin to
'off-set', one rich spoiled American with self-interest's and more money than GOD in one hour.
Then I have to listen to them preach about global warming and How I'm not doing enough, and need to drink from paper straws? Piff
I loved seeing the aircraft, I really did. It still was totally worthless in the end. They had fun at OUR expense and the planet.
I never feel very good knowing that banning paper napkin's is the next logical 'Law' to save the environment.
A FACT, trees are a renewable resource and have been, forever, when managed as the State of Idaho, does very well.
After all you could just use your shirt, and look like a bum on the street.
Oh wait, most of America already looks homeless. Now we just need to all use our clothes as napkins too, and be part of the solution to global warming. Everyone should be dirty and stationary and grow your own food, and make your own life having nothing.
I like Winter where I live..... Hollywood goes back to California where they belong, and I hope every year they don't return.
That would really be saving my local environment in a meaningful way.
Yellowstone National Park is not distressed by it's resident's. Instead it is RUINED by 'world-wide' tourism.
The Chinese, actually think it is a man-made ZOO/amusement park. You should see what they do, to simple toilet's in the park. One woman is all it takes to close a toilet for an entire day for thousand's of other women, because they literally 'Sh*t standing up on an actual toilet made and provide for THEM to protect the environment.
The warning signs in pictures are even posted, on how to use them properly. Imagine that if you dare !!!!!
Then they, fall into the geysers,cliff, river, or canyon and die taking a 'selfie-photo'.
I love Charles Darwin. Poetic justice is best served in REAL-life. Modern human's throwing themselves into a Super Volcano, is so Stupid !!!!!!!!!
Haha, I even donate my aluminum can's, to my local boy's to recycle, and they do it with pleasure.
Free money at my expense, of dirty hands. They get to buy 1 pint of ale, every 2 day's on just my waste/garbage. Even a porn star, does her part for humanity, and I love the irony of it all !!!!!
