Update: So, it only mostly was successful. There's some graphics issues.

As you can see, the text isn't entirely legible. At times, my army & civilians become black boxes, too.

I'm guessing it's because I'm playing on a computer that doesn't meet one or more of the game requirements but I'm not a tech person. Any ideas for solutions?

Anyone else have a love-hate relationship with a game?
Like, a game is so hard that you "hate" it, you get frustrated with it, but you keep playing it because you love the challenge.

I totally get that, especially with games where you can get rankings or stars on each level - even if a level is super hard i can't stand when i only have 2/3 stars so that's motivation enough to keep going

Virtua Cop 2 Sega PC 1995

this was our (me and my sisters) first shoot’em up game. and we played it on our first computer that came to our home. we loved the concept and the story. it was simply cops and robbers game. we played it in our early tweens. i remember that we were blown by how realistic the graphics were. it was our first 3d game ever played. we especially loved the characters’ designs and how good looking they all are, especially the 2 men. and we would each pick up a character and fantasies about them, lol. too bad we could only play it on pc and not in arcade mode were more than one player could play and we could only play the guy in the middle.

i loved the levels’ locations. one in a city town, the other in the docks and the 3rd inside a train. the locations and the environments were very pleasing and engaging. i felt like i really wanted to live there. and it’s one of the reason why i liked to play it. i also remember that our younger sister was the one who almost finished the game reaching 2nd place, which none of us have ever done before. she’d actually practice her shooting skills on this game. and after that i would too. we just loved this game so much it was so good, from the weapon arsenal, to the criminals, to the hidden locations. i also remember that both my dad and mom played this game once and almost finished level one. i believe this is one of the games my parents liked it.
