Hello Bimbos,

So this is an update from the Prime Bimbo.

The situation is that this site is going to be an 'on going' project for me. I decided that I liked Miss Bimbo so much that I wanted to get a  version of it back online. I also fet i owed to many of you whom I felt had a natural affinity with the bimbo world. However I also had the headache that we squandered all money made on Miss Bimbo and so I only had  a small budget to get this back online.

This is not a big budget website. It has cost me the best part  of 10 000 USD to get back online to date. My idea is to transition away from a 'fashion' game and try to make a 'democracy' game. I like humanism and democracy. Bimbos are humans. I see this as a kind of fun experiment to see how democracy and voting works in the context of our bimbo community.

I also strongly feel we have the chance to make something special. A special community of people that can change the world for the better. But  in order to do that then we need to get you/us (the bimbos) spending. As you know 50% of any money spent goes straight to the treasury. You can see at the moment we have 227 USD in the treasury which means that since we went online we have made 454 USD total. This is not bad but not enough to heavily re invest. So I must think of ways to make sure our treasury is going up. We are suffering from economic stagnation! We need an economic advisor asap! is anyone working in government economics available?!!

In order to heavily re invest we are going to need a thriving community of bimbos who are all paying their way and bolstering the treasury. I am interim Prime Bimbo so on June 1st I will give the treasury money to a humanitarian cause of my choice. Currently I am thinking I will give some to the tsunami victims families and some to Battersea dogs home in London. The I will hand over Prime Bimbo ship to whoever is voted in by you people.

Apart from fixing bugs I don't intend to do too much additional development for a while. After the next election I am thinking we will add a few features and improve a few things eg debates and leaderboards. This site is solvent and in no threat of going off line. Our overheads are low and I am running a tight ship.HOWEVER in order to really grow then that will be reliant on people getting interested in the democracy idea and in wanting to take part in bimbolands and to spend money.

I havent sent out any emails yet despite having around 1 million old emails in the database from Miss Bimbo. I am waiting till after the first election before I invite all the old bimbos back en masse.

Lets see what happens............

If you independently choose to register and spend your time on a Bimbo roleplay site  AND THEN subsequently claim to be morally outraged about some of the roleplay content in Bimboland then we should be very suspicious of your opinion and motivations.

You enjoy roleplaying with your own Bimbo so let us also enjoy roleplaying with our own Bimboland nation.

A challenge to be sure that causes me to take the podium, with voice and reason for the players.

I found myself a bit set aback reading the post in it's entirety, because as with most economic advisers, they usually appear to be insensitive with the solutions to a problem of over spending.  So I'm going to just accept my fate, and speak to what needs to be done to make a thriving community of Bimbolanders.  In many ways I believe it should be talked about in private with the current Prime Minster but because of the idea of transparency in government  I shall make plain to all, my reasoning.

To facilitate, investment in the Bimboland's game by the players, there must be a reason to purchase clothing and memberships.  I've been reading the posts of everyone who is calling this game dull.  I can have fun with just writing, but many other players, also need a challenge in a game. GOALS. ( you are missing out on a huge income stream there)  This should be your first priority.  Jobs ?  Who is the citizen seamstress?  Who is the metal worker?  Who is the the home-maker?  Who is the governess? Who is the Scientists?  The bridge builders?  Who is....? ECT !!!!  A small wage would be nice too.  I even had a crazy Idea that to get better jobs, a player would have to Pay for school?  Madness !!!  Perhaps but true to life.  How real do you want this nation?

As of now there is nothing, that is an incentive.  Debates are just static, and stagnant.
I would buy expensive clothing on Miss Bimbo just for the dueling system, and the challenge room.  You already had the orginal IDEA, and it worked out most awesomely. Would it be so hard to integrate the idea into this game?
It also was an incentive to me, to decorate my profile and have my clothing match a theme I would create.  Just being a Senator is not really much of an incentive, to players that are not already wealthy in their own regard. Women and men like to show off the bit's and bobbles that they can buy.  Without being able to truly have a way to do that in a fun way, it will not promote spending, and as such an income for the building of Bimboland's. You MUST build the infrastructure of a fun game before you can donate to an animal shelter.

Thus the cycle  becomes a catch 22.  If half the proceeds are the only budget to be used to build the game,  then it is doomed.  It is a wonderful concept to give to a charity but if the game dies, who will benefit in the long run?
First you must build a house before you can shelter the impoverished.  So the second Item most important in a financial decision is going to be the unpopular one.  Reduce charitable Giving to 10%.  It must be done,  and use that extra 40% to build activities that will give reasons for players to spend their hard earned REAL money on ENTERTAINMENT.

The power of money becomes exponential, as you gain tax-payers.  You can't put the cart before the horse, so to speak.
IF you build it, bimbo's will come, and PAY.  Only then would I recommend sending out that MASS e-mail, to all past players of Miss Bimbo.

I was just looking at something as simple as the Map.  The ideas I have for this game would be so fun.  How about a population list for the various states.  Residents of Bimboland's have pride.  I noticed the new beginnings, of a community called Reasonopia. This is a good thing and should be celebrated.  Think of the merchandizing potential !  Themed items in the shops, is revenue to build the game.

List those players with pride, on the map. Appeal to the vanity of Bimbo's with clickable links to profiles, and comments.

The potential for this game is endless, if you understand human nature.

Reasonopian's want a bridge built.  I totally agree with them, in this matter of uniting all in a common cause of making this game better than Miss Bimbo ever was.

You have a great Idea here Honorable PM Sweet,  Don't let it get caught up in a humanitarian ideal prematurely before you claim it is a budget crisis.  Together we can build a game,  and save many with humanitarian causes, tomorrow.

I feel a bit sad that this site should develop into a democracy game rather than into a fashion game..

I can envision it as both.   Duels were a voting system concerning fashion, sometimes even just popularity.
One of my favorite threads on Miss Bimbo was the dueling thread where even the most unfashionable 'car-crash' outfit still won the vote. Players would post the screen capture and comment on it, often with a lot of humor.
Even democracy can be very blind.  Yet, that is always the future.

In this game, I think the key to getting anything really done, is going to be with the players who come up with creative polls.  With good debate, afterwards.  Remember, the First post, is always the one that sets the tone for the voting process.  Challenge your minds Bimbolander's, and let the people decide how to vote in your poll question.  I know from personal experience and I'm sure many others do the same, that a good poll question is the first thread I look at.

Seriously Sweet as nuts: if you want people to 'invest" in this game you have to give them things like goals and jobs to achieve. combining a bimbo element with government can work.My American was a really good format that proved that government and "fashion " could work together. right now people are not feeling like there is anything worth investing in with real money. you have a prime bimbo in HLB by default not performance since only Senators can run for prime bimbo. even saying that what happens when HLB's 2 terms are up? Senate is going to be a hard sale without more to offer people cant change their bimbo ,they cant really do any thing except post in the forum.  you want the site to give to charity but without sales of the senate there wont be a treasury to give away. its a circular issue here sales equal treasury =charity.  the right to run for prime bimbo is not enough incentive to invest.

Public positions, like senatorial ones, shouldn't be bound by whether people sink real money into the game or not. This concept is actually very undemocratic and puts me off to no end, even making me less inclined to invest in the game since it glorifies cronyism. Other benefits and rewards should be implemented for paying players, like, I don't know, access to eyebrows or the ability to manage profit-based companies. All public administration officials should be elected by the people, even the police force in the form of moderators. Dangerous, maybe, but isn't it a risk worth taking for the sake of the democratic experience?

More middle management public positions should be created in the near future, and the role of the senate expanded accordingly, as right now they don't seem to have much to do at all. We should have at least governors for the states, the aforementioned police force, maybe even some kind of simplified legal system?

All in all, the future of Bimbolands may sound promising, but we have to remember the interests of the players as well. As much as I understand the focus on the simulation of a republican constitution, which is fine and dandy and all that jazz, day to day life isn't about political hierarchy at all. I understand the simple mechanics for B$ quotation as it simplifies the treasury accountability, but if people are to feel they are getting all the bang for their buck, prices in the shop must drop drastically. I don't feel many people are eager to exchange five american dollars for five bimbo dollars so they can buy a five dollars hat for a doll. But if they could get more than that it would maybe feel like money well spent. And if people wish to buy and consume products the way the old game enabled, there has to be a way to appeal for that thirst for spending in the form of private enterprise.

Which brings me to my last bullet point, which also ties in with the first one in a cyclical manner: every successful virtual venture has a collaborative element to it. Make it possible for community members to offer items in shops for the price they want to charge for it and fairly tax them. Community drive and creativity far supersedes any attempt of a small group of admins to think for all of them, and everyone profits from it. Money will come to the treasury, I guarantee it, even if not for the "idealistic" reasons, and our economy will be closer to real life than this plastic attempt to mimic it that we have right now - making the democracy aspect of the game not only feel more important, but also actually functional.

Also, forget I said eyebrows should be exclusive for paying players. I want mine back for free, please.

ot
I agree to a point and it is this Senators should be elected not able to "buy" the position since they are the only ones allowed to run for prime bimbo. it makes the "republic or democracy" smack of corruption and gerrymandering. i think its ok for the initial people to be appointed as long as its some from each region to moderate their area as it will allow  the region to develop its area more to the citizens taste if they have a representative. then start electing regional officials based on performance not the biggest wallet or the most empty promises. there is a strong need for things to do here besides post in a forum

I'm pretty sad so far, there's no clothes and I can't figure out how to even get my character their hair!
I loved the old game, and this is nothing like it, there's no ways to earn money like the old game, plus spending my OWN money on a game like this? No thanks...
