I don't think most Americans care if he cheated on Melania,What we are baffled by is why the NDA's the threats and the pay offs? With the 2 women. Ms Daniels made it clear that this was a consensual one night stand. Just as all but one of Bill Clinton's affairs was consensual and that was a sexual harassment case from his time as governor of Arkansas Paula Jones. it was where he stupidly lied under oath. although why Monica was even brought up in the course of the case makes no sense since it was consensual between Monica and Bill Clinton. Trump wouldn't be the first president to cheat on his wife and he certainly won't be the last. Its his pay off and NDA that is confusing.
There are two things here. First the cheating part, he cheated on his wife by having sex with a porn star. Something that the GOP wanted to hang over Hillary's head after Bill did the same thing. Not that it mattered because it doesn't work in reverse.
Second his attempts to cover it up, why try to cover it up? Why threats and hush money?
All of these things show the president in a less than honorable light. You don't want a wannabe mafia guy running the country.
