This week has been very complicated, I missed work because I couldn't get out of bed, I lied to my colleagues saying that I had a family emergency and therefore I needed to be absent.
The emergency was not a family emergency, it was my mental health collapsing.
Today I woke up a little better, put the clothes in the washing machine and organized some things - I made my bed too, which certainly improved my mood a little.
I hope it's a good day for all of us! ♥

Ngl I’ve felt awful for a whole day now. I can’t get over the trauma of being cheated on, lied to, gaslit, and invalidated by my ex. It’s been over a year since I cut him off to end the mental and emotional abuse. My sense of self worth is getting better, but I can’t help but think about the past and get angry and depressed and outright upset about how he treated me. I just want to heal for good, and I’ve been making the effort. I know it takes time too, but I hate how much time it’s taking to pick myself up.

ive been in a pretty bad place since like august/september of last year mostly because im not in school right now.... i have no idea what i want to pursue and seeing friends younger than me get into uni/college for their dream career kinda makes me nervous? like im happy for them!!! but it feels like im stuck in a stagnant position while others are thriving and its led me to just. si tin my room all day. go to work. sleep. repeat. and ive been trying to keep a positive mindset but its hard, y'know? im on meds for anxiety/depression but they dont seem to be working right n im just like. basically i am just sitting here. however the past few weeks ive been trying to keep a positive mindset and force myself to do things and it seems to be helping a little bit!! i guess its just baby steps for now but its better to be in motion rather to be at a standstill : + )

hmmm feeling really anxious lately. i graduated college a few months ago, and now it's time to get a "big girl" job :o( i start searching for jobs tomorrow and im just overwhelmingly scared! Not only is it a huge step in my life, but I can't help but feel that this is the start of my life and I don't wanna make any wrong choices! But I recognize that it's just something I have to do and I can't keep procrastinating on beginning my life even if I'm terrified. All in all though, I do believe everything will be okay and that everything that happens from here on out is for a reason :o)

ive been upset and depressed the last few days. someone who was my only friend in my high school choir was recently arrested for sexual assault. i feel betrayed. myoldest brother moved out recently and my other brother and i had to pick up his chores. i wouldn't mind it so much if my other brother wouldn't be such a screaming asshole. at least i finally got another refill on my anxiety meds so i dont have to worry and be sick over that
