Get youself some used weight watchers books from ebay or amazon.

ive seen some questionable stuff lol. firstly, to address the question, most fruits and veg are low cal esp cucumber which has like 15kcal per 100g, and ive seen people substitute pasta with things like zucchini noodles to reduce the calorie/carb content of the meal. you could also opt for the 'low cal' snack options in the store but if ur someone who tracks macronutrients and sugar content, make sure ur looking out for that because a lot of those snacks aren't necessarily 'healthy'.

i did see someone here say avoid fat?? pls dont do that the body literally relies on fat to function you just need to ensure youre getting the right kinds of fat - lots of monounsaturated fats or polyunsaturated fats, which are essential fats (meaning the body needs them, but unfortunately cant make them) so u have to get them thru diet. think avocados (pretty low cal), corn oil and fish like salmon (also low in calories at like 120kcal per 100g). the general consensus atm is to avoid hydrogenated fats while watching out for saturated fats bc those are the ones that have been linked to health issues.

and another thing just bc some people love to hate on carbs: the right kind of carbs aren't ur enemy. replacing high-calorie simple carbs (sodas, granulated sugar, sweet treats etc) with low-calorie complex carbs (brown whole wheat breads, most veg, fruits etc) can actually improve ur health. 
i know u didnt ask for a whole dissertation but i just felt the need to briefly skim over that stuff bc i dont want people to see comments like 'dont eat fat' and 'avoid carbs' and then interpret it in an unhealthy way... popcorn and greek yoghurt are also low cal btw
