Hello everyone and welcome to the Design-a-Kid contest! The purpose of this contest is, as the title suggests, to design your own baby on top of these bases I will be providing. They're the same as the clingy kids available in the babies section:
All the artists and designers of bimboland are completely welcome to join. :)
The contest will officially begin on 20th May, but I preferred to post in advance so anyone interested might have time to prepare. It will end officially on 27th May, unless something comes up that might make this worthy of an extension.
Craigslist-stripper and railophone will be joining me as judges here, so a huge thanks to them as well!
Entries will be judged according to the following main criteria:
Uniqueness/creativity. Execution. Since people's art styles can vary, this is mostly related to technical ability with digital art. For example, colouring within lines, etc.Prize tiers are in the image at the top of the post, but I'll list them here too:
1st place: your creation in the shop*, 1000 b$, 1 large chest2nd place: your creation in the shop*, 1000 b$, 1 medium chest3rd place: your creation in the shop*, 1000 b$, 1 small chest4th place: your creation in the shop*, 1 small chest, 1 lottery ticketBanners for everyone! (I'm not that good at making graphics, but I'll try getting one to all participants)*Subject to approval from the shop workers. Winners will have to provide proof that the creation is made by them if they haven't done so before in the past.
RULES:
Any image editing program can be used, as long as you are able to work with transparent pngs. Your entries must be in this file format, with a transparent background.You must use the bases provided here, but other than that, feel free to go wild with your designs.Please avoid making edits that could be perceived as offensive to an ethnic minority or other social group. Other than that, you're pretty much free to do as you wish? Wanna make an alien or furry baby, for example? Go ahead!Don't harass fellow contestants or judges. You can submit more than one entry, but we can only judge one. If you choose to do that, please specify which entry you want to be judged.While it's not required, you can also write an explanation or description of your design, if you want.You may only post your entries between 20th (from 00:00 Bimboland time) and 27th May (23:59 Bimboland time).
