Bras are the worst things in the world. I went in to get re-fitted for a bra because its been years since I bought one and I really needed to get one. So the lady measures me once and wanders off to fetch me a bra.. and comes back with the ugliest granny bra possible. She gets me to wear it, stares at me, pokes and prods and then says 'hmm' and wanders off to get another bra. I try it on feeling uncomfortable and she goes hmmm.... FRAN COME TAKE A LOOK! And called over one of her friends to also stare at me and try to figure out my bust size by sight and a few prods. I tried on exactly 10 bras, 8 of which were pure lace - fun fact, I'm allergic to lace - and eventually I'm told that I'm somewhere around a 30/32 F or FF.

Overall it was a very humiliating experience -sighs- When I went to another store I found THE PERFECT BRA except.. it didn't come in my size, it came in one cup size too big. Not that they didn't have my cup size oh no.. They had it. They just didn't have it on display and wouldn't go fetch it in my size. No new bras for me!

God do I want these things lopped off asap

Lol well after I got breast implants I went to try on normal bras when surgeon said it was okay. First I went into PINK to try on sports bras and I was still sore and unable to lift my arms above my head to take my bra off so my husband had to come in to help me. Then we went to Victoria's Secret where they told me he couldn't come in so I had to let this stranger woman come in an see me half naked. Such an uncomfortable situation but it was a decent bra fitting, I feel they got my size correct.

I have a tendency to just grab what I think is my size and run for the dressing room to try them on .I am pretty self conscious because after getting sick I blew up like a giant water balloon and have not been able to get rid of the water. the more water pills I take the faster the fluid builds well that gave sucha a poor body self image I avoid being sized after a clerk said well if you weren't so fat>>>>>>>you would be easier to size

I know how you feel. I recently got put on some new meds and gained over 2 stone in just over a month - I'm now covered in stretch marks and my already hated large breasts got bigger. Body confidence at all time low.

Back when I was a bigger woman (don't judge me, I was 208 pounds), I went to Lane Bryant and found the most amazing, well-fitted lace teddy that my then-husband went gaga over. I tried it on and showed it to him and he suggested having sex with me in the dressing room. Before I could say no, the lady helping me said "I don't think that would be a good idea, and we would require you to buy the teddy." So of course, I run back into the dressing room and take it off as fast as I could out of sheer embarrassment and then we decide to buy it. He pulled out his credit card and swiped it...declined. Tried again. Declined. I had run out of cash earlier that day buying groceries and stuff to upgrade my computer with. So we apparently had no money to spend. I had to put the teddy back. It was expensive though but I would've loved it.

I ended up buying a better one at Wal-Mart for less than 20 dollars.
