Lets discuss the role of the PB and the police (for want of a better name). Cops? buzz? bobbies? pigs? fuzz? blues?
So the PB job is a very difficult one and comes with a lot of challenges and responsibilities. The PB is caught in between the wants and views of the bimbo public (who voted for them) and the wants and the views of the Presidents palace (who hold the power behind the scenes).
So what type of person is suited to this job?
Someone reasonable, smart, articulate and fun.
From my/presidents point of view there are a number of dangers or anxieties in trusting you and delegating the running of the community to you the players.
My biggest anxiety is highlighted in this thread above.
I feel that it is very easy for the PB or Bimbo police to take the path of least resistance when moderating eg above they have removed a sentence saying that a make believe character has 'the biggest penis in the world'. Yet a sentence blatantly saying the whole of the UK is racist has been deemed as ok.
Which sentence is more damaging?

b offends a whole nation and anyone with any sensibilities.
Yet which sentence has been removed?
This is clearly a failing of the the bimbo police to follow their own rules. And a failing of Bimboland as a whole.
However I am not going to be too critical here because I can see why they did this.
Yes - peer pressure and the rule of the bimbo mob. The mob were shouting about a big penis and so a big penis got removed (even though the rules do not say big penises are not allowed) . The mob ignored the racist comment and so that remained. It is governance by emotion rather than logic.
If i were moderating it would have been the other way around. The big penis would have remained and author of the racist comment would have been warned (but perhaps not removed).
So whats happening here?
The reality is that I have to accept that in delegating power I have to make compromises. Essentially I am throwing the PB and her team to the lions . The Bimbo mob can be very vocal and intimidating and therefore that can sway how the PB and police perform. And often that is not in the best interests of BImboland as a whole. Its in the best interest of the noisy mob only.
So how can we resolve this moving forward?
a) Elect strong PBs who understand the mob mentality and can see through it and are not afraid to take the mob on head on.
b) Have a strong sense of identity amongst ourselves so there is less ambiguity.
I have made it hard on the PB by changing the age from a ridiculously conservative 18+ (the same as pornsites!) to a more reasonable 16+
So I accept responsibility for that.
c) I can employ 1 person to stand up for Bimboland at all times whom works with the PB but is subservient to the PB and does not step on their toes. But at the same time they do not allow the mob to undermine Bimboland and the PB.
There are a number of thigs I see over and over again which for me are very damaging to Bimboland and should be challenged. I do NOT believe they should be edited or removed but they must be challenged.
What are these comments and damaging assertions -
Bimboland is unsafe (we are not. prove it or apologise for damaging assertions. On the contrary we are a string safehaven for everyone and always have been. Why do you log in everyday if you feel unsafe?)
BImboland is damaging (it is not - its a warm and caring place)
You should not spend money here (why not? If you feel like that then emigrate and leave us alone. The PB salary is made up of senator subscription. If you care for your community you will invest in it and not undermine it)
You should not be a senator( why not? they are the people that make this place what it is ie a largely intelligent and caring community)
I am dangerous (why? evidence please or be quiet. its slanderous and illegal to suggest that)
We dont care about Bimboland (why? I have run it successfully for 13 years entertaining millions. Why do you log in if you dont like it?.)
All of these slanderous assertions go largely unchallenged by the PB and bimbo police and yet they also break our very own rules ie are these not discriminating against me and discriminating Bimboland? Where are the protections for ourselves? It seems everyone is protected in Bimboland except ourselves. Thats self harming and damaging
